Dr. Abib Agbetoba is the Director of the Texas Allergy and Sinus Center. He is a board-certified Otolaryngologist with specialized fellowship training in advanced sinus and skull base surgery. His areas of interest include allergy, medical and surgical management of sinusitis, smell & taste disorders, tumors of the skull base & paranasal sinus, repair of cerebrospinal fluid leaks as well as minimally invasive in-office procedures such as balloon sinuplasty.

Provider Biography

Dr. Abib Agbetoba received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston Health & Science Center graduating with honors and induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship and residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a fellowship training in Skull Base Surgery and Rhinology at the University of Texas at Houston Health & Science Center Texas Sinus Institute. Dr. Agbetoba has been actively involved in clinical research and is authored in multiple peer-reviewed journals and co-authored in multiple ENT textbooks. He has presented both oral and poster presentations at regional and national meetings with an emphasis on rhinologic and skull base disorders. He remains an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Rhinologic Society.

As a native Houstonian, It has been a long-time goal of his to return home and provide outstanding medical care to the community that has given him so much. Dr. Agbetoba’s approach to patient care involves treating and caring for the ‘person’ and not just the ‘disease’. Each patient is unique, regardless of how simple or complex the problem may be and it is imperative that the clinician’s approach embodies this philosophy.

Away from work, Dr. Agbetoba remains a die-hard Houstonian sports fanatic, enduring through the good times and bad of his hometown teams the Astros, Rockets, and Texans.
