The COVID-19 vaccination rollout has begun! Some Americans have already received the vaccine, while many others patiently await their turn. You may be wondering to yourself, “But how do I get immunized for Coronavirus?”
Unfortunately, Texas ENT will not be offering the COVID vaccine, but we want to help educate you on how you can find out where to go when it’s your turn.
Step 1: Call your healthcare provider and ask about the vaccination. Find out when it is available for you and where you can get it.
Step 2: Once you get the green light, head over to your immunization center, roll up your sleeve, and smile. Seize the moment! Don’t waste any time.
Step 3: Stay vigilant! Although you’ve been vaccinated, we are still in the middle of a pandemic. Masks and social distancing are still required until we get control of the virus. You may have the vaccine, but many other people do not.
It’s exciting to finally see the light at the end of the quarantine tunnel, but it’s important to remember that we’re not out of the woods yet. A few more steps need to be taken. Until it’s safe to feel human again, continue to observe the safety measures put in place to try to stop the rampant spread of COVID-19.
