Dr. Murtaza T. Ghadiali is a Fellowship-trained Otolaryngologist who brings significant surgical expertise and experience to his patients.  He is committed to providing excellent medical and surgical care to all his patients. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.  He has published several scientific papers and textbook chapters.  He has participated in many local and national clinical and research presentations and has received numerous research awards.

After attending The University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with Highest Honors and received the Distinguished Scholar Award as recognition for maintaining a perfect Academic record, Dr. Ghadiali graduated with his Medical Doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He fulfilled his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Medical Center. There, he was honored twice with the UM Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Chandler Society Annual Resident Research Award as well as the Resident Research Award at the Florida Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Ghadiali then completed a prestigious two-year fellowship program at UCLA Medical Center in Laryngology, Voice and Swallowing Disorders under the guidance of Dr. Gerald Berke and Dr. Dinesh Chhetri in 2009.  He was a Clinical Instructor in the UCLA Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery for two years.

Dr. Ghadiali has served as the President of the Northwest Branch of the Harris County Medical Society in 2018.  He is a member of the Medical Executive Committee of the CHI/St. Luke’s Vintage Hospital.  He also serves as the Vice-Chief of Surgery and Chairman of the Credentials Committee at the Vintage Hospital.

Dr. Ghadiali enjoys practicing the breadth of General Otolaryngology, including both adult and pediatric care.  He has special clinical interests in Laryngology, Voice, Airway, and Swallowing Disorders, Rhinology/Sinus Surgery, Balloon Sinuplasty, Allergy, and Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Ghadiali joined Texas ENT Specialists after practicing in Southern California for over seven years.  When he is not caring for his patients, he cherishes spending time with his wife and two children and enjoys playing competitive tennis.
