“My patient care philosophy can be boiled down to this: Do the right thing for the patient, always. Sometimes that can mean staying late, working a patient in, spending extra time with a patient who needs more support, asking for help, saying "no" when a surgery or procedure is not in the best interest of the patient, or recognizing and validating a patient's emotional needs. Medicine has always been a calling for me, and the doctor-patient relationship is the best part of my job. Taking the best possible care of my patients is my number one priority.”
