Audiometric Threshold Testing: This widely available hearing evaluation identifies the softest sound level you can detect at various frequencies. Both adults and children can undergo audiometric threshold testing as one step in identifying hearing issues.
Bone Conduction Testing: This test can discern the presence of blockages due to earwax or fluid in the outer or middle ear or to identify sensorineural hearing loss. This test measures sound conduction through bone.
Verbal Auditory Assessment: A test performed on adults and children measuring the ability to perceive and articulate spoken words, offering insights into speech comprehension.
Electrophysiological Hearing Assessment (EHA): This diagnostic tool evaluates neural pathways from the cochlea to the brainstem, which is essential for individuals unable to undergo standard audiometric tests or those with potential auditory nerve or pathway damage.
Cochlear Function Test (CFT): This procedure is designed to assess the health and responsiveness of the cochlea by measuring sound wave emissions, providing critical information about the inner ear's functioning.
