Hearing Evaluation Tests

Speech Discrimination: A test to evaluate how well you hear/understand spoken words.
Bone Conduction: A test measuring how well your inner ears respond to sound.
Otoscopy: checking in the ear canal for potential obstructions.
Tympanometry: testing to measure how well the eardrums move.

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association recommends that adults 50 and over schedule hearing tests every three years.
